Our cakes are composed of three moist, delicately baked layers, one of our fine fillings, and smooth buttercream frosting or a rich, dark chocolate ganache. As we are an all natural bakery and abstain from using preservatives or other artificial ingredients, all of our cakes are made to order. Please place all orders at least two days in advance. For cake emergencies, please call or email us.
Depending on the order, cakes are subject to extra decoration fees.
Cake is always tastiest at room temperature! Serving cold cakes will deny you the pleasure of their lovely texture and rich flavor. Allow time for your cake to achieve room temperature (approximately 72°) before serving. We suggest at least one to two hours. Please note that larger cakes will require more time.
Hint: Be patient while your cake gets acclimated! It's worth the wait.
Keep in a cool room or space while being served. Do not place cake in direct sunlight. Wrap it in plastic film following serving and do not place near pungent items in the refrigerator (such as onions or garlic). Upon receiving the cake, store in a refrigerated location.
Slice cakes with a long, sharp knife, dipped in hot water and wiped dry. Repeat by dipping and wiping between each slice. A hot, clean knife stroke will produce a smooth and even cut - your cake will thank you for it!
You get more cake out of cutting a cake grid style as opposed to pie style. Depending on how many guests you’re serving, pie style will do. But if you want to get more out of your cake, cut it grid-style. For more information on how to slice your cake, please inquire when ordering or at pickup.
